We identify and seal openings to prevent air movement from the living space into the attic. This will improve the efficiency of the home and prevent condensation in the attic that will form when this warm moist air enters the cold attic (during the winter). Over time, this condensation with lead to mould growth, which is a health hazard and will damage the roof sheathing.

We identify existing ventilation performance and determine if it is adequate or needs improvement. Adequate ventilation is needed to keep the temperature of the attic as close to the temperature of the exterior as possible to prevent condensation and mould. Proper ventilation will help to regulate the temperature of the attic and any humidity to escape before creating problems.

We provide quality fiberglass, cellulose, and wool insulation products. New insulation can be installed on top of the existing insulation to achieve todays current standard of R-60 (Ontario Building Code). Blown-in, loose fill insulation is the most common and economical application for attic insulation.
