Construction Crew Member
Responsibilities:
- Transport service vehicles, equipment, and crew members to job sites.
- Construct containment barriers to isolate work areas.
- Perform demolition, carry construction materials and debris, cleaning of equipment and work areas, maintaining service vehicles and equipment, etc.
- All aspects of interior finishing, with attention to detail, including:
- Framing insulation and vapour barrier
- Drywall, tape, sand, and prime
- Baseboard and trim
- Apply textured ceiling
- Flooring installation (carpet, LVP, tile, etc.)
- Basic plumbing and electrical would be an asset (but not a requirement).
Requirements:
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, self motivated
- Must deliver exceptional customer care and service
- Able to work in a team environment, have positive attitude
- Willing to commute to shop in Kitchener each morning on time
- High school diploma/college certificate asset but not required.
- Clean criminal record
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record (G license preferred).
Remediation Technician

Responsibilities:
- Removal of damaged materials, such as carpet and drywall, etc.
- Operate power tools
- Moving and shifting contents, such as furniture, within damaged properties.
- General cleaning tasks, following property damages losses.
- Setting up equipment and containment barriers.
- Setup and monitor remediation equipment such as dehumidifiers, large fans, additional drying, and deodorizing equipment.
- Communicating daily status of jobs with management/team leader.
- Measure, cut, prep, and install building materials.
- Assist in property reconstruction and renovation work that may include tasks such as framing, insulation, drywall, painting, trim work, flooring, and more.
- Represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:
- Must be able to handle repetitive tasks and physically demanding work.
- Must deliver exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
- Must commute to shop location in Kitchener each morning on time.
- The understanding of basic principles for restoration and mould remediation would be considered an asset, however, it is not required. Training and certifications are available for all tasks related with this position.
- High school diploma.
